说明： 端砚老坑又称水岩，是端砚众坑中的佼佼者，排位于上三坑之首。古之爱砚者莫不宝之。清人曾有砚铭赞美老坑“玉斧劈开，紫云一片。若遇江郎，阴晴百变。乞灵浚思，青钱万选”。 此砚以老坑佳石所制，长方开淌池，留阔边，砚堂平整，边饰仿古夔龙纹，质细而润，砚堂及背有大片冰纹。配红木砚盒。
