观音菩萨，梵文 Avalokitevara，杨柳观音是三十三观音相之一。结跏趺坐，左手托净水瓶，右手当胸以拇指和中指结合持执杨柳枝，作抛洒甘露的手势。头戴兜帽花冠，正中的小化佛刻画细腻到位。宽额丰颐，双目俯视，神态宁静慈和。袈裟自头顶披下，胸前饰璎珞，下身着高束腰长裙，此为明代汉地造像常用装束。衣纹自然简洁，生动写实。整体形态端庄，通体鎏金，雕刻细致入微，时代风格鲜明，为明代中晚期汉地观音造像作品。
