说明：1911年10月武昌辛亥革命起义成功后，在同年12月29日召开的十七省代表会议上，孙中山被推选为中华民国临时大总统。1912年1月1日正式宣誓就职，宣告中华民国临时政府成立。当年由南京造币厂铸造了有孙中山头像的中华民国开国纪念银币。这是废除封建帝制后发行的第一种贵金属铸币，有壹圆、贰角和壹角三等记值。到目前壹圆银币存世较多，而贰角币和壹角币存世较少。
