说明：石狮自古是被佛教推崇的至尊高贵的灵兽，石狮雕刻艺术自东汉时期传入我国，在唐代达到顶峰。由于其威武雄壮，多用于看守门户，镇宅，护身，寓意吉祥平安。至明代，石狮造型走向成熟和定式。此对石狮造型蹲坐式，身姿威严，体态健硕有力。石狮坐于长方形云座之上。雌狮左足抚幼狮，雄狮右足踏绣球。两个石狮头部微微前倾，跨数百年守望依旧。丰厚卷曲的鬃毛，概括有致。整体风格大气、自然，格外写实的雕刻手法，加之岁月沁润出的古雅色调，内敛而厚重，不愧为明代遗留至今的佳品。
