GROUP OF THREE CANTON FAMILLE ROSE WARES QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY 清 廣彩人物花鳥紋對瓶 及 文房蓋盒(一組三件) comprising: a pair of baluster vases; and a compartmented rectangular box with cover, all similarly decorated with figural panels against floral and foliage ground(box: 19.1cm wide; vases: 26cm high each)Provenance: Sir Maurice William Ernest de Bunsen (1852-1932), and then by descent. Sir Maurice William Ernest de Bunsen was a British diplomat who held many important international positions in the early 20th century, notably as Ambassador to Spain between 1906 and 1913, and Austria between 1913 and 1914.
