PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE PLATES, YONGZHENG/QIANLONG PERIODThese plates are delicately hand decorated with enamels of pale turquoise, blue, green, yellow, white, red, mauve and pink all in varying shades. The central well decoration shows a tall lady (long Eliza) in a garden with her attendant, standing by a pine tree and a deer, all beautifully executed with excellent detail. There are inner and outer borders with floral detail, the flowers detailed in shades of pink from a soft light colour to a rich ruby red.Diameter 23cm each
