此香爐銅制，敞口縮頸，爐體上兩側各三初開光，其內高浮雕花鳥，姿態各異，其下蓮瓣紋座。底有“宗甫”二字款。此爐做工精細，鳥目、花筋葉脈細節之處都清晰可見，絲絲分明。銅質精良，栗殼色皮濃厚沉著，古意盎然。置之案間，頓生雅意，是一件頗為精緻的案幾清玩之物。
