题识／钤印：丙午新秋，少昂于香岛。钤印：赵背面：贵阳花溪旧作。丙午年九月，少昂于香岛。钤印：赵 释文：绿了花溪水，寒梅未着花。炊烟紫暮霭，笼遍几人家。桥上马蹄急，归鸦认故枝。明朝溪路北，杨柳拂征衣。赵少昂，本名垣，字书仪。广东番禺人。早年从高奇峰学画，后曾任广州市立美术学校国画系主任。1948年定居香港，设岭南书馆授徒，从者众多。第二代岭南派的代表画家之一，擅以硬笔、破锋画写意花鸟。
