笔筒口沿平整，口底相若，筒身内收，筒壁上镂空透雕缠枝花卉，花大叶小，花瓣上细刻花蕊，枝叶繁茂，蜿蜒缠绕。笔筒以镂雕，刻线技法，展现德化窑瓷塑的另一面，器物玲珑剔透，釉色白里透红，莹润柔和，文房佳器，美不胜收。 笔筒镂空雕刻，经年累月，品相完美者本不多见，同类器物可参与福建世茂海上丝绸博物馆同一器型笔筒相互佐证。
