此瓶雕饰精美，构思新颖，器型别致。瓶身通体施白釉，胎骨纯净，莹润如玉，蒜头口，颈肩处堆贴一螭龙，身形矫健，张牙舞爪，活灵活现。圆鼓腹，圈足。瓶身线条流畅圆润，螭龙雕刻工艺精湛细腻，釉色如象牙白，保存不易，殊为难得。德化窑创烧于宋代，素以白釉器和瓷塑著称，其制品胎、釉浑然一体，瓷质致密，色泽光润明亮，故有“猪油白”、“象牙白”等称。民国时的许之衡《饮流斋说瓷》：“后制者出德化，色甚白，而颇莹亮，亦名福窑……白者颇似定窑，惟无开片，佳者瓷质颇厚，而青里能映见指影，以白中闪红者为贵”。
