作者简介：徐溶（？～1867后），初名世昌，字雨亭，曾用名铃木寿，号观山樵者、白洋山人，晚号椿翁，别署观山樵者、观涛楼，室名崎阳山馆、四望亭、吟秋书屋、海尺一角楼、中华云海室，浙江平湖人，居乍浦，晚年寓居沪上。工山水，擅水墨，笔墨苍秀，兴酣淋漓，意致闲适。偶作花鸟。成丰十一年（1861）移家居日本长崎，卖画自给，求者颇众。太平天国后约1866年归，足痹不良于行，旋卒。同治六年（1867）冬日，在申江以王蒙笔意作《山水图》。见《当湖历代画人传》、《历代书画名家款录印存》、《历代名人室名别号辞典（增订本）》、《民国平湖县续志》。
