识文：水渊深广，则龙鱼生之。山林茂盛，则禽兽归之。礼义修明，则君子怀之。故礼及身而行修，礼及国而政明，能以礼扶身，则名自扬。诗曰，有觉德行，四国顺之，此之谓也。款识：书为慎修年兄，汪由敦。钤印：汪由敦印（白） 堇堂（朱） 一经传旧德（朱）
作者简介：汪由敦（1692～1758），字师苕，一作师茗，又作师敏，号谨堂，又号松泉，安徽休宁人。雍正二年进士，官至吏部尚书，谥文端。书法力追晋、唐大家，兼工篆、隶。殁后，高宗命集其书为时晴斋帖十卷勒石内廷。著有《松泉集》。
