识文：存心可有可无之间，微云澹河汉。处世不即不离之际，疏雨滴梧桐。款识：震川归有光。钤印：归有光印（白） 震□（朱）签条：归有光行书中堂。鉴藏印：兰芳别墅珍藏（朱）
作者简介：归有光（1507～1571），字熙甫，又字开甫，别号震川，世称“震川先生”。苏州昆山人。明嘉靖四十四年（1565）进士。历官长兴知县、顺德通判、南京太仆寺丞等职，故被称为“归太仆”。尚唐宋古文，其散文风格朴实，感情真挚，是明代“唐宋派”代表作家，与唐顺之、王慎中并称为“嘉靖三大家”。著有《震川先生集》、《三吴水利录》等。
