款识：“大清乾隆年制”六字三行篆书款
清代雍干两朝帝王钟情宋瓷之美，常下旨仿烧以宋瓷器形和釉色为蓝本的瓷器。据《清宫造办处活计清档》载，乾隆二年(1737)十月十三日，司库刘山久、七品首领萨木哈、催总白世秀来说太监毛团、胡世杰、高玉交......汝釉杏元四方双管瓶一件......”，所指应即为与拍品器形相同的仿汝品种。拍品造型源自宋代修内司官窑粉青贯耳穿带杏圆方壶(参见《宋官窑特展》，页57，图13)，器形与常见直口贯耳瓶不同，胎体较薄，瓶口自颈部外撇，平添几分秀丽柔美之感，腹部突起桃形装饰。全器满施仿官釉，釉质凝厚肥润，开片舒密自然，显现宋瓷遗韵。可见仿官釉于清代御窑瓷器中之重要地位。
