款识：寒水芙蓉开未落，画中不见采菱舟。人杰先生正，心畬。钤印：旧王孙（朱） 溥儒（白） 玉壶（朱）

张人杰上款并旧藏，由其家属友情提供。作者简介：溥儒（1896～1963），字心畬，号西山逸士，斋号寒玉堂，出生于北京。清宗室，恭亲王嫡孙，曾留学德国。笃嗜诗文、书画，皆有成就。其山水、花鸟、人物无一不精，与张大千有“南张北溥”之称。又与吴湖帆并称“南吴北溥”。上款简介：张人杰（1877～1950），字静江，别署饮光、卧禅，号来音小筑主人，浙江湖州人。曾支持孙中山改组国民党。与蔡元培、吴稚晖、李石曾并称国民党四大元老。1926年代理国民党主席，“四·一二”政变后任浙江省政府主席。抗战后出国，1939年赴美，寓居纽约。善书画，精鉴赏。
