铭文：谷庵老人遗砚。光绪辛卯三月，兆镛记。。此砚取端石制成，材质温润细腻。砚池布满虫蛀，浑然天成不加修饰，随形而制，古朴典雅。汪兆镛(1861—1939)，字伯序，号憬吾，晚号清溪渔隐。原籍浙江山阴(今绍兴)，咸丰十一年生于广东番禺。清代学者、官员、金石家。与汪兆铭（汪精卫）是同父异母兄弟。
