款识：梅竹双清。辛未秋日，拟元人黄敬公本于古华亭老屋之玉壶山房薇花苔畔，金粟香中传粉调铅，清兴自足。不识鉴者以为何如？玉壶外史改琦。印鉴：改琦、七芗鉴藏印：讷庵珍藏。作者简介：改琦，字伯韫，号香白、七芗、玉壶外史等。松江（今上海）人，宗法华嵒，喜用兰叶描，仕女衣纹细秀，树石背景简逸，造型纤细，敷色清雅，创立了仕女画新的体格，时人称为“改派”。工人物、佛像、仕女，笔意秀逸潇洒。其花鸟、山水、兰竹等，吸取前人之长，亦有一定造诣。
