Description

款识：董其昌印鉴：昌、玄宰鉴藏印：钱氏数青草堂收藏印、玉庐主人、海昌钱镜塘印。钱镜塘旧藏。董其昌对纸张要求较高，非常喜欢用砑制坚实、细腻光洁的镜面笺。镜面笺是纸面光滑晶润如镜的优质纸，为高丽笺的一种，较早见于明初，作书画装裱之用。据信16世纪中叶之后，始用于书画。明人沈德符在《万历野获编》卷二十六《高丽贡纸》写道：“今中外所用纸，推高丽贡笺第一。厚逾五铢钱，白如截肪切玉。每番揭之为两，俱可供用，以此又名镜面笺。毫颖所至，锋不留行，真可贵尚。独稍不宜于画，而董玄宰酷爱之，盖用黄子久泼墨居多，不甚渲染故也。”据安岐《墨缘汇观》记，董其昌名作《关山雪霁图》就是作于镜面笺上，“白镜面笺本，高四寸，长四尺一寸五分，小袖卷。”另藏于上海博物馆的董其昌行书《寄陈眉公诗卷》、《黄庭内景经卷》也皆用镜面笺所作。
