题识：甲寅（1914年）醉司命日写奉肖模先生雅鉴，弟林纾识。钤印：林纾之印鉴藏印：云梦吴忠媖藏按语：观此作，动静结合、虚实相生，芭蕉叶下鸟张口啁啾，通过对鸟喙、眼神、脖颈、脚爪各部位的刻画，生动准确地勾勒出刹那间的神态，体现了画家极强的观察和写生能力。整幅画面布局交错，菊花依石而生，坚实的顽石以它的凝重压住了画面，却又以侧势而立，使之更显张力，丰富了画面多层次的视觉观感。整体奔放洒脱，意境沉厚，为其晚年成熟期佳构，无不体现他眼中富有天趣的花鸟世界。拍卖记录：2018纽约佳士得邱氏家族珍藏中国书画
