帽筒原为清代宫廷或贵族、官员置帽之器，自乾隆朝以后器形逐渐演变，发展为类似花瓶的陈设器，兼具实用与观赏功能，拍品即属此类。帽筒外壁以琉璃为料，绘山石花卉花鸟，花卉枝叶繁密公连，并辅以祥云吉祥，寓有“吉祥如意”之意。画片极具层次感。纹饰布局繁密，描绘细致。
