底款：孟臣
此壶作鼓腹扁灯式，此一形制亦见于1822年泰兴号（Tek Sing）出水朱泥壶。壶流嘴前引，圈把蓄力稍作微调，将传统扁灯中心提高，更添精神。壶形扁，盖墙却相较普通朱泥小品略长几分，极利茶汁浸泡，为茗战利器。底作圈足，落款“孟臣”椭圆章。此器式度凝练，结构端雅，窑火甚足，为扁灯式中的佳器。
