款识：清和斋制 |笔筒规整精巧，包浆浑厚，近枣皮红。外壁阳刻两株肥壮的大白菜，另刻花草蝴蝶。刻划生动，情致宜人。旁阴刻行书诗文：“当年伯虎曾题咏，却喜能知咬菜风”，署“清和斋制”款。诗意隽永。古人有“咬得菜根则万事可为”之箴言，该笔筒之诗画当即形象地阐述了这一人生哲理。
