此为十九世纪英国餐边柜的典型造型，黑色大理石面，正面装饰黑漆和黄铜鎏金镶边，柜体乌黑发亮，中门及四周装饰有中式百宝嵌花果主题纹样，所用材料珍贵，色彩搭配协调，设计制作十分讲究，画面层次丰富，细节处理一丝不苟。此柜结合多种工艺技法及材料，体现了洛可可审美及中式装饰审美的融合，形成雍容华贵、富丽堂皇之十九世纪英式镶嵌家具。
