蒜头瓶因瓶口形似蒜头而得名，始见于汉代青铜器造型，瓷质品则出现于元代。明代尤以嘉靖. 万历两朝烧造为盛，至清代继续烧造，器形更趋成熟秀美，康乾两朝蒜头瓶形式样丰富多彩，追求典雅古朴，以此青花蒜头瓶为康熙朝之典型代表。
瓶型俊雅秀逸，瓶口内敛，呈蒜头状，直径，溜肩，垂腹，圈足外撇。线条起伏柔美迤逦，白釉匀净透彻，胎骨细薄坚致。口. 颈. 腹. 足皆绘以古青铜纹样，腹部兽首描绘细致，造型夸张，纹饰高古风雅，青花浓艳青翠，视觉效果惊艳突出。颈部装饰二道留白凸起弦纹，更修长瓶颈，平添风姿。远视此凭，宛若佳人林下，亭亭而立，丽质怡人，绝代天成，足入清供，赏玩品味案间，余韵不绝，乃瓶事之逸品。
