此对碗敞口，深弧壁，圈足。通体施施酱色釉，釉面光亮匀净。口沿因垂釉而显露白色胎骨。足内施白釉，书青花双圈"大清康熙年制"六字双行楷书款，字体规整大方。
酱釉又名"紫金釉"，渊源可上溯到宋代定窑的紫釉，清顺治. 康熙时非常流行。又因釉色似僧人常穿的袈裟，而被称作"老僧衣"。清官窑每朝必烧，品种除内外壁均罩酱釉之外，还有内白釉外酱釉者。
