商标：“亨得利”款识：亨得利机芯款识：SMITHS； MADE IN GREAT BRITAIT； SMITHS ENGLISH CLOCK LTD. 此种融合了中国传统的插屏和西方的座钟，故名插屏钟。制作奢华考究，新颖精巧，是清末民国典型的苏钟。插屏边款以螺钿装饰，精美耀目，螺钿为缠枝葫芦、团寿、葡萄、梅竹等纹，寓意多子、多福、多寿，是清代钟表市场使用的装饰手法。屏内正中为三针表盘，弦孔三个，铜制的花针曲线优美，报时声音悦耳。四周浮雕缠枝卷草纹，华丽而低调。卷草纹浮雕明显带有清代宫廷钟表趣味崇尚西洋纹饰的遗风，而在插屏木底座上则有镂空的缠枝葫芦纹饰以和屏身的螺钿纹互相呼应，象征福禄万代。此类座钟可参考《时间的历史映像—中国钟表史论集》（北京：故宫出版社，2013）。
