玉瓶方口、束颈、扁身，鼓腹、方圈足，造型规整，体量硕大。瓶盖围饰雷纹，两面雕兽面纹，盖钮为长方形；瓶口围饰雷纹，两侧圆雕两只螭虎作为双耳，独角突目，龇牙咧嘴，身有双翼，四肢强健，威风凛凛；瓶身自上而下分别为双凤纹，几何纹、饕餮兽面纹、云雷纹、莲瓣纹。双凤翻卷飞舞，线条流畅，纹饰精美；兽面纹粗眉宽鼻，双目炯炯，巨口尖牙，神秘威严。整器由大块白玉雕琢而成，玉质白润，雕工细致，掏膛均匀，抛光精细，从造型到纹饰无不透露出仿古的意味，庄重典雅，气韵不凡。
