Feuchtmayer, Joseph Anton 1696 Linz - 1770 Mimmenhausen bei Salem H. 25,5 cm Saint Afra. Bozzetto, linden wood, worked in full round. Left hand missing, right arm not worked out. Slight traces and damages due to age. The bozzetto was owned by an old-established family near Salem until today. The Hops family of sculptors resided nearby, they were also in contact with them. Hops was an apprentice in the sculpture workshop of Dirr (also called Dürr), Johann Georg Dirr himself was first an apprentice and later became a partner in Feuchtmayer's workshop in Mimmenhausen.
