此炉炉口外侈，束颈，鼓腹自然下收，底承三乳足，炉颈两侧对称出环形耳，耳上各出一小角。炉座为荷叶形，足托处卷起以承炉身。整器用料精良，手感沉重，包浆醇厚，润泽油亮。压经炉是礼佛读经时焚香所用，将之置于案前可以安定心神。
