屏风分为四扇，以挂钩连接，嵌螺钿工艺。各屏采用粤绣工艺，内容丰富，细致入微，其图案画意深远，吉祥美好，既富丽华贵又具浓厚的生活气息。螺钿嵌是用在髹漆工艺上的一种装饰手段，主要是采用螺蚌之贝壳，将其珠光层加以磨薄磨光加工成薄片后，制成人物花草鸟兽等形象嵌入预先雕成的凹形图案内，再髹上一层光漆，于后磨平抛光使其露出钿片，就制成了色彩艳丽的嵌螺钿器物。
