霁红釉高温色釉品种，烧造难度颇大，盛行于清康熙、雍正、乾隆三朝。
罐呈钵型，造型饱满，线条流畅。以覆烧技法而成，口沿露胎，胎质细润。外壁及底满施霁红釉，釉质肥润亮泽，发色凝厚纯正。
北京故宫博物院藏清雍正窑变釉钵型棋子罐，其形制、烧造工艺与拍品相同，可资参阅。
