of bulbous form surmounted by an everted ridged neck, chased and engraved with floral stems within arched panels, the petals and leaves set with rubies and emeralds. Provenance Sothebys 20 April 2016 Sale. N.B. a Huqqa base decorated in the same technique with floral pattern chased in relief but without any gemstones in The Al-Sabah Collection, Kuwait National Museum, inv. no. LNS 1102M.
