AN ITALIAN PAINTED AND GILDED COAT OF ARMS (STEMMA) 17th century, painted on canvas in the form of an elaborate gilt cartouche having two cherubs holding a scroll with the motto "nodo ordito nel ciel stringasi in terra" (let the bond ordained by Heaven be tied on earth), centred with two conjoined arms. Height 188cm, Width 172cm OTHER NOTES: The arms are those of the Cini-della Valle family (left) and the Vitelli family (right).
