Teller IV，《Chinese Antiques: Bronze Gold Silver Earthenware Ceramic》，纽约，1980年，页56 说明 来源美国私人收藏此金盒经精雕细琢，成乌龟形状，金胎厚重，盒上工艺却精致无比，线条清晰利落。乌龟四足伏于地上，盒盖上方焊一只小鼠，器型精巧娇俏，可爱万分。两晋十六国时期，鲜卑族所造金器常以动物为主题，其生活用器与西北方草原民族的狩猎生活息息相关，纹饰多以动物捕猎的形态为主，因此多见形为老虎、熊等凶猛动物，以乌龟及小鼠为材之金器实为珍稀有，广览公私收藏，并未见有相同者，本品工艺非凡，题材独特，确是难得一遇。LOT 3143-3184为同一藏家收藏
