清代湖南“同治二年 捌月 嘉禾县 熊新盛”五十两银锭一枚重量：1868克，嘉禾县上解藩库税银，委托省城长沙官银匠熊新盛铸造；湖南五十两大宝造型独特，通常锭面呈圆弧状，双翼低矮，底部为较宽阔的椭圆形，状似龟壳，民间习称“龟宝”，存世稀少，夙为五十两大宝中的人气品种，近年来收藏热度大增，行情今非昔比；嘉禾县古称“禾仓堡”，意为天下粮仓，相传是神农最初教民耕种并修建粮仓的地方，“嘉禾县”名锭存世十分罕见，公开拍卖迄今仅见此一枚；拍品宝面开阔平坦，四排戳记舒朗整饬，通体覆盖灰色包浆，底部筋脉舒展，气孔亮丽，孕含数颗银珠，原始状态颇佳，是湖南龟宝中的稀少品种，GBCA XF45+
