款识：“大明宣德年制”六字三行楷书款
此炉形以四曲海棠花为形，海棠炉少见，无耳者，更为稀罕。
炉壁偏厚且规整，入手沉笃，平口外撇，直壁斜收，平底下承四云足。
炉底开阔，中央长方框内，“大明宣德年制”六字楷书，铸后精修，中规中矩，布局法度严禁，笔画粗韧有力。
文物店库出之原皮，十分难得。经数百年之烧炼、置放，精铜之变幻，四色沉冶，密融如膏，成就为栗色为基调，墨韵其上，如幻如蕴，可谓佳境。
