此盘以一木镟制，几座式，木纹华丽妍秀，造型独特，色泽红润，找条流畅。香橼盘是古人书斋中陈设的一种小型果盘，常置香果或佛手于其中，散发出宜人的香气。在古隔中营见有香橼盘，传世香橼盘大多为瓷质，木制不为多见。
