说明：砚式圆形，开月牙池，圆形砚面，三足鼎立。众所周知，以足支撑的砚台称为足支砚，该砚形流行于盛唐之前，这与当时席地而坐的生活习惯有关。宋代的鼎形砚亦属足支形砚。即使宋代的主流砚形——插手砚，也保留着足支砚形的遗风。无非是由兽足、乳足演变为墙足而已。
