|翡翠，冰糯种，白、褐相间。以巧色技法作一仕女，呈对镜簪花状，柳叶眉，丹凤眼，樱桃小口，头挽云髻，身着华裙，肩饰飘带，倚坐于台座，左手持镜，右手兰花指，指尖如笋，正将玉花插入发鬓。面容娇美，满含幽怨。是对镜自赏还是顾影自怜？看她对镜簪花专注的神态，不由令人蓦然忆起诗人温庭筠《花间集》中菩萨蛮：“小山重叠金明灭，鬓云欲度香腮雪。懒起画娥眉，弄妆梳洗迟。照花前后镜，花面交相映，新帖绣罗襦，双双金鹧鸪。”吟诵之余感叹有相通之处。构图简洁，神态传神，烘托出美人的俏丽和她复杂的内心世界，留给人无限遐想的余地。
