A silver coffee pot, maker's mark rubbed, London, mid-18th century, the hinged lid with a turned finial, above a spreading body set with a fruitwood S-scroll handle and a foliate spout, engraved with initials WKJ, on a circular foot, inscribed '1756' beneath, 22cm wide, 11.5cm diameter, 24cm high, 21ozt Condition report: Maker's and date mark rubbed. Tarnish and discolouration. Some deep scratches, knocks and marks. Apparent solder repair to spout. Handle a tiny bit loose. Hinge a tiny bit loose also.
