识文： 巫峡研铭。其质纯有美玉兮，在昆仑其用亨，长江大河之奔腾，宜书宜画宜子孙。赠端研一方于海师，上隽巫峡，盖珍品也。敬为撰铭，以志盛事，滕固。 刘海粟上款。 作者简介： 滕固（1901～1941），字若渠，江苏宝山（今上海）人。著名美术理论家。早年毕业于上海美专，后获德国柏林大学美术史学博士学位。曾任教于金陵大学、昆明国立艺术专科学校校长。后任行政院参事、中央古物保管委员会常委、教育部中央学术审议委员，著有《中国美术小史》、《唐宋绘画史》等。
