signed CHUXIONG, inscribed, and with one seal of the artist dated Dingmao year（1996） ink and color on paper, hanging scroll Fang Chuxiong was born in 1950 in Shantou City, Guangdong Province.Currently he is a member of the Chinese Artists Association and lecturer of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.Fang is regarded as a talented artist when he was a child and graduated from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.His solid painting technique and years of pursuit and research of art make his painting skillfully integrate characteristics of Hai painting school and Lingnan painting school.His painting is engaging and bright,especially his small-sized flower and bird paintings which embodies strong pastoral flavor.
