signed TANGYUN, inscribed, and with two seals of the artist ink and color on paper，hanging scroll Tang Yun (Chinese, 1910–1993) was a painter known for his flower-and-bird subjects, landscapes, and portraits. Born in Hangzhou in the Zhejiang province, early in his career, Tang served as an apprentice to a number of traditional artists and taught painting in middle schools.
