题识：轼年十二时，于所居纱榖行宅隙地中，与群儿凿地为戏。得异石，如鱼，肤温莹，作浅碧色。表里皆细银星，扣之铿然。试以为砚，甚发墨，无贮水处。先君曰：是天砚也。有砚之德，而不足于形耳。因以赐轼，曰：是文字之祥也。轼宝而用之，且为铭曰：一受其成，而不可更。或全德，或全角。均是二者，顾予安取。仰唇俯足，世固多有。宁化黄慎。|钤印：黄慎印、恭寿 |作者简介：黄慎，福建宁化人，初名盛，字恭寿，恭懋，躬懋、菊壮，号瘿瓢，清代画家，扬州八怪之一，亦能诗。
