A Louis XV Style Gilt Bronze and Chinese Porcelain Mounted Pagoda-Form Mantel Clock CIRCA 1740 十八世紀中葉 法國中式銅鎏金亭臺式松石釉羅漢鐘 the case worked in gilt bronze in the form of a three tiered pagoda, the rounded base having a pull-out drawer in the form of a staircase flanked by latticed banisters, which enclose two Blanc-de-Chine glazed porcelain figures standing as attendants to a turquoise glazed figure of Budai. Each eave terminating in ring suspended bells, the first of which is supported by curvilinear columns.
