Two Chinese 'Lotus' Glass Bowls 19TH CENTURY 清晚期 綠料荷葉式碗及寶石藍料花鳥紋花口碗 the first an opaque green example, the second of transparent sapphire blue. Each molded in the form of a large lotus leaf, with a foliate rim emerging from rounded walls, supported on a foot carved as winding stalks. The exterior carved with buds and stalks against work in low relief to suggest veining leaves. Diameter of largest 6 1/2 in., 16.5 cm.
