茶船乃承托茶盏以防烫手之茶具，后因其形似舟，遂以茶船或茶舟名之。《饮流斋说瓷》中云：“承杯之器谓之盏托，亦谓之茶船，明制如舟，清初亦然……” 拍品内外匀施矾红釉为地，器心开光以红彩书变形“万寿”篆书，内外壁均以金彩绘缠枝西番莲纹及蝠纹，花瓣开敷，枝蔓缠卷，以寓“福寿绵延”。整器形制规整别致，红彩鲜丽，金彩明艳，寓意吉庆。
款识：“大清嘉庆年制”六字三行篆书款
