拍品呈方胜造型，直壁平底，六角设足，造型祥瑞别致。内壁、底部敷松石绿釉，外壁以珊瑚红为地，其上以金彩绘缠枝花卉纹，各面饰方形开光，内以粉彩绘山水、屋舍并墨彩诗文。整器纹饰繁而不杂，施彩丰富艳丽，开光中所绘山水清旷、图文并茂，颇富风雅之意，为案头逸品。 北京翰海曾于1996年拍出一件清乾隆珊瑚红地描金开光粉彩山水方胜形笔筒，其造型、装饰方法均与拍品相同，可资参阅。
