拍品器形硕大端庄，胎质坚细厚重。外壁青花绘云龙纹，四龙或奋力相追，或回首相顾，龙身腾跃，须发怒张，麟爪锋锐，形态凶猛，刚劲有力，下方加饰江崖海水，波涛汹涌，极富动感。青花发色鲜艳沉丽，画工一气呵成，颇具皇家气势。 此类青花云龙纹大缸应为清宫陈设重器，地位尊崇，存世较为少见，北京故宫博物院坤宁宫神厨内置有造型、纹饰相同之器，可资参阅。
