砚滴又称水滴、书滴，为传统文房器物，多作贮存砚水以供磨墨之用。 拍品以铜铸成神兽辟邪之形，腹部中空，背中设有小孔，用以注水。神兽身形饱满，头生独角，面如瑞狮，凸目阔鼻，神态威严，兽背以卷曲线条勾绘羽翼轮廓，流畅写意。整器造型古雅端庄，铜质精纯，包浆厚重，为案头文房佳器。 辟邪为貔貅中头生独角者，主避凶、招财，其形象于六朝期间颇为流行。
